- The 2012 IEEE/ASME International Conference on Advanced Intelligent Mechatronics will be held on July 11-14, 2012 at Ambassador Hotel in KaoHsiung, Taiwan. The purpose of the IEEE/ASME International Conference on Advanced Intelligent Mechatronics (AIM), following the footsteps of the previous eight editions, is to promote activities in various areas of mechatronics by providing a forum for exchange of ideas, presentation of technical achievements and discussion of future directions The AIM brings together an international community of experts to discuss the state-of-the-art, new research results, perspectives of future developments, and innovative applications relevant to mechatronics, robotics, control, automation, and related areas.

2012 Cross Strait Quad-Regional Radio Science and Wireless Technology Conference (CSQRWC)

2012 IEEE Third International Conference on Smart Grid Communications (SmartGridComm)
- The conference will be centered on all communications aspects that are relevant to the Smart Grid and aims at bringing together researchers from Academia, Industry, and National Labs to exchange novel ideas, explore enabling technologies, discuss innovative designs, and share field trial experiences and lessons learnt.

生醫工程應用研討會暨仿生系統與醫療輔具國際研討會
- 新興的腦機介面(為了診斷和恢復神經的重要功能)有機會提供研究人員研究在基本認知功能和病理下的神經活動、檢測心驅動的決定等。演講中介紹了為了設計和整合為了無線神經紀錄的微系統的積體電路系統技術、傳統動作電位偵測以及新的神經傳遞的特點。除了資料採樣外，動作電位檢測，資料壓縮和無線傳輸技術也都有在演講中提及。此外，演講內容也包含如何獲得能源已提供生物電子設備運作和與外部基站雙向的數據交流。為了達到功率以及資料上傳下載(為了記錄以及資料傳遞)速度的要求，系統使用電感式連結。演講中也提到關於全部可植入、以CMOS為主的設備的整體的介紹、為了偵測癲癇起始點和學習視覺機制的連續EcoG紀錄的案例探討。
